Newsflash

If the government are so keen to reduce traffic with new taxes then why is there not a campaign to encourage working from home? The technology is readily available. Or could it be just another revenue generating scam?

ImageLord Mandelson has greeted the news of the end of the recession in France and Germany with some positive words of his own. "Gordon Brown has quite rightly said that the United Kingdom is best placed amongst the world economies to weather this global recession. And this positive development proves what he has been saying all along. In the UK we have some of the fastest growing industry sectors of any G20 country."

"In the areas of Debt Management and Insovency Practicioners we are without parallel. Baillifs are enjoying the kind of month-on-month growth that their counterparts in France and Germany can only dream of. Only yesterday I received a very encouraging letter from Bob Nailer from Bob's Boarding Services congratulating the New Labour Government for all our efforts. He informs me that his turnover is up over 400% as his services are called upon by our great nationalised banks such as Lloyds TSB and RBS for the very important work of securing homes and business vacated by their previous occupants. We should encourage such entrepreneurial activity by increasing the taxation rates such important business people enjoy. He also informs me that another joinery related business he owns, Bob's Gibbet Construction, has won a new contract for the construction of 646 new units, which I look forward to seeing put to use, from my office in the Second Chamber."
